Family Sports Center How do I change the address and/or telephone information on my membership?
Can I transfer my Membership to another person? Members may transfer the membership, provided the club receives a minimum of 30 day written notice, and all club charges, dues, fees, interest and the like are fully paid, to another person. The transferee shall execute a new membership agreement contract. The new member must complete the remaining number of months on the original contract before the contract will roll over to automatic recurring invoices. The new member must also provide new EFT information if the membership has not already been prepaid. How do I add and/or drop a family member from my account? Members may add their legally married spouse and/or their children age twenty one and younger to the membership at any time by completing a change form at the front desk and paying the month’s prorated prevailing family member dues. There is no charge for children ages six and under with regular memberships. The first full month’s dues may also be charged at the time of the addition. Members may drop family members from the membership by completing a change form at the front desk, no later than the 25th of the month to affect the next months billing. Does the Family Sports Center offer Corporate Memberships? The Family Sports Center offers a discounted membership program for businesses of 10 or more employees looking to provide a membership to the entire employee population of the company. How can I put my membership on a Medical Freeze? A medical freeze may be granted, at no charge, to members upon the Clubs receipt of a signed and dated Doctors Certification thirty days in advance, whenever possible. The signed and dated Doctors Certification must state the anticipated dates the member will not be able to use the facilities. A one (1) month minimum and twelve (12) month maximum Medical Freeze is available. Upon a return from a medical freeze, an updated, signed and dated Doctors Certification must be presented stating the member may return to the facilities. How can I put my membership on a Maintenance Freeze? Members may request the entire account (family members included & required) to be transferred to a Maintenance Freeze for a minimum of one (1) month and a maximum of twelve (12) months for travel, business, vacation, or reasons other than medical. All members indicated on the membership account will also be transferred the maintenance freeze. A minimum of thirty days notice in advance is required. A per month maintenance fee will be charged and may be paid in advance, or may be drafted from the checking account/credit card on file. Are Group Exercise Classes included in my membership? All classes are included in each of the memberships, excluding all Children’s Programming Classes which are an additional cost, providing the member has not purchased a Just 4 Kidz membership for the child/children. There may be times the Family Sports Center offers classes for an additional fee. Where is the Family Sports Center located? We are located at 1107 Junction Hwy at the intersection of Junction Hwy and Harper Road/Guadalupe Street. Can I bring Guests with me to the Family Sports Center? Members may bring a guests providing the member pays for a Member Day Pass or Member 5-Day Pass at the front desk. What are the policies for minors and what areas in club is my child allowed to go into? All children under the age of 18 must have a Youth Waiver on file and completed by the parent or legal guardian. Children ages 13-14 may use the resistance and cardio equipment with a parent or guardian (18+yrs) present. NO free weights. Children ages 15-17 may use the resistance equipment, cardio equipment, and free weights. All children 12 and under must have adult supervision (18+yrs) while using any of the swimming pools Member’s ages 9-12 years can play basketball in basketball court without supervision while parents are on premises. Ages 8 and under must have parent supervision in the basketball court with them. Non-Members 15+years can play basketball in basketball court without supervision. Children 14 and under must have parent sign a Youth Waiver and the parent must be on premises during play. In the racquetball court children 12 years of age and under must have parent supervision in the racquetball areas. Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult in the bowling center. Is the Bowling Center and Courtyard Grill opened to the public? The Bowling Center and The Courtyard Grill are both opened to the public unless a league or other party is scheduled at the time. Please call for further information. Does the Family Sports Center offer swim lessons? Family Sports Center offers swim lessons, year round. Please call the Family Sports Center at 830-895-5555 for schedules and times available. Additionally Family Sports Center is the home of the Kerrville Rapids Swim Team. Does the Family Sports Center have an outdoor pool? Active members and/or prepaid guests of the Family Sports Center are allowed to use the Inn of the Hills outdoor pool next door during summer months providing proper identification and/or a Day Pass receipt showing payment to the Family Sports Center. |
